Job Description

We invest in and partner with outstanding entrepreneurs across the entire spectrum of the healthcare ecosystem, including tech-enabled services, HCIT, digital health, tools & diagnostics, medical device, and biotech
The Role
You will play a critical role in conducting comprehensive analyses of biotech companies that are developing drugs across various stages and indications. You will assess the scientific and clinical feasibility of potential investments, perform financial analysis, build financial models, and evaluate company valuations. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning and recommending investment strategies. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with a seasoned team of professionals while honing your investment and analytical skills
Responsibilities:
• Screen and evaluate potential investment opportunities, including direct meetings with companies.
• Analyze scientific material and therapeutic fields, including engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs) through reach-outs and interviews.
• Develop and enhance financial skills, including valuation modeling, return analysis, and scenario planning.
• Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
• Participate in networking events and establish relationships within the biotech and startup ecosystems.
• Collaborate with team members to share insights and contribute to ongoing projects.
Requirements
• MSc, MD or PhD in Life Sciences (or equivalent); post-doctoral work is preferred but not required.
• Preferred: Experience in areas such as investment analysis, business development in pharma, research roles in financial institutions, or consulting within healthcare or biotech sectors.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly convey complex scientific concepts.
• Independent, results-driven mindset with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
