Job Description

aMoon MN

aMoon MN is a dynamic portfolio of over 20 leading healthtech companies pursuing the mission to accelerate cure in numerous areas of medical need.  Companies operate globally across Israel, the US, and Europe, in fields spanning industries of therapeutics, vaccination, tools & diagnostics, and medical devices. The aMoon MN associate will contribute to maximizing the portfolio's potential value and impact. The associate will interact with portfolio senior leadership to shape company strategy and achieve high-level performance. The associate will work in collaboration with aMoon's larger team of scientists, physicians, entrepreneurs and investors with global experience who have dedicated their lives to science, medicine, technology, and progress. Armed with a deep understanding of the challenges facing entrepreneurs and a passion to make healthcare more affordable, higher quality and to improve access to care, the team works closely with founders to navigate challenges, seize value creation opportunities and achieve growth potential.

The Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual with strong business acumen and project management skills to research, perform due diligence and portfolio management on companies in the MN portfolio. The Associate will be involved in portfolio management based on science/technology, financials and market need, and they will deliver comprehensive diligence including deep analysis of the technology, business model, market, competitive and financial aspects of companies. Due diligence processes will include review of preclinical, clinical and commercial data, conducting interviews with KOLs and domain experts to assess the unmet needs and relative strength of the product/technology, and assist with preparation of investment theses, market models and team meetings. The Associate will work with industry and academic firm partners, as well as develop their own network, to help portfolio companies succeed. The associate will work with team members across aMoon teams, assist board members with board meeting preparation, and work with the Alpha & Insights teams to add value to our portfolio companies.

You are:

 

You are a highly motivated and talented individual with a passion for cutting edge science, technology, business acumen (post MBA degree preferred), and relevant work experience. You are driven and have the ability to work in an energetic, high-paced, rapid growth environment. You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to translate complicated scientific and technical language to a non-technical audience in both Hebrew and English. You speak and write English fluently and confidently (native level) and possess a record of working successfully in a global organization. International education or work experience and a background in healthcare is highly advantageous. 

The position is based in Ra'anana, Israel.
