We are looking for a qualified Director of Digital Marketing & Operations to take the lead in developing successful, long-term digital marketing strategies for our company. As a Director of Digital Marketing & Operations, you should have in-depth digital marketing and marketing operations experience, as well as a passion for digital technologies.
You will work closely with different teams, including Sales Operations, to ensure consistency through all digital channels. You should also provide forward-thinking ideas to build and maintain a strong company web presence and support commercial funnel operations. Ultimately, you should be able to drive all digital marketing efforts to achieve our business objectives.
Build, plan, and implement the company’s overall digital marketing and marketing operations strategy and roadmap
Organize, train, and lead the digital marketing and operations team and support and guide the deployment and use of all digital channels
Develop a paid search strategy for the company and oversee tactical implementation of PPC campaigns
Ensure operational excellence via digital tools across the commercial sales funnel and use voice of customer, Google Analytics, and A/B split-testing in support of conversion rate optimization (CRO)
Oversee the development of graphical design standards for online visual marketing collateral and ensure operational efficiency and integration of digital asset management tools with other corporate systems
Guide user experience research and implementation
Measure ROI and KPIs for all digital channels, present this data in an effective manner, and prepare and manage a digital marketing budget in light of sales performance trends
Research competition, investigate benchmarks, and provide suggestions for improvement of all digital tools and channels
Direct the company’s growing website, including designing and implementing new features and functionality and establishing and guiding the website’s future architecture
Ensure website performance and availability, and oversee all technical aspects of the CMS
Direct the engagement with members of the broader Marketing & Communications team to develop landing pages, microsites, and templates
Support functional excellence in ‘technical’ search engine optimization (SEO) and stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices
6-8 years of experience as a Digital Marketing & Operations Director developing and implementing digital marketing strategies
In depth knowledge of different digital marketing channels
Good knowledge and experience with online marketing tools and best practices
Hands-on experience with SEO, Paid Search, and Google Analytics
Hands-on experience developing and executing CMS-MAS-CRM integration strategies
Experience with local development environments and managing code through source control (Git, SVN) CICD pipelines (Gitlab, Circle CI, BitBucket etc.) required
Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
