The Role & The Team


We are looking for a collaborative, energetic, self-driven Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team! You will be in charge of planning, developing, and implementing a new Talent Acquisition strategy for Seer! As our TA Lead, you will be responsible for finding, recruiting, and hiring talented candidates as well as eventually building a Talent Acquisition function as we rapidly expand. This role will preferably be based on-site in our Redwood City office.



Responsibilities & Goals


Areas of specific responsibility and attention will include:


  • Design and implement a talent acquisition strategy for Seer
  • Perform analysis of hiring needs and provide employee hiring forecast
  • Build a Talent Acquisition function
  • Recruits and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Review employment applications and background check reports
  • Find bottlenecks in the recruiting process
  • Create action plans for improving the candidate experience



Background & Qualifications


Key requirements include:


  • 8 years of combined experience as a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Manager
  • At least 2 years of management experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Healthcare, Biotech, or Pharma
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting
  • Experience implementing Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Ability to work independently; self-driven
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong and collaborative work ethic; must be a self-starter and persistent in achieving objectives to support Seer’s scientific and business goals
  • Must work well in a small team setting, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, while meeting scheduled deadlines in a fast-paced environment
