Data Engineer (Israel) at MDClone

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a talented Data Engineer, who will join our Israeli Customer Success team to take part in customer’s data analysis and custom process implementation. As part of the job the Data engineer will work closely with MDClone’s medical and product teams as well as customer teams.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Work closely with customer teams

  • Analyze data needs and define solutions that will impact the usage of the MDClone system 

  • Develop, implement and maintain ETL processes, using various technologies (Big Data,RDBMS, etc.)

  • Design schema structures to support application needs that insure peak performance

  • Explore and find insights within large databases and continuously produce improvements in order to maximize the value of the data for the researchers

  • Continuous improvement of operational process and procedures (e.g data loading, data quality assurance, data curation and enrichment, and more)

  • Provide creative solutions for advanced challenges

  • Work closely with medical teams, researchers, project managers, data scientists  and the product team  

  • Onsite face to face meetings with customers when needed

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Passion for data, creativity, innovation and high motivation

  •  Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to details

  • Relevant bachelor’s  degree (preferably industry engineering/information systems) - Mandatory

  • At least for 2 years SQL experience (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL) - Mandatory

  •  Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Talend) - big advantage

  • Experience in Healthcare IT companies - advantage

  • Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
