The Role

Velocity is aMoon’s early stage fund focused on identifying and enabling cutting-edge disruptive innovations through seed/round A investments, venture formation, sponsored research and strategic collaborations. Our team of industry and VC veterans, PhD scientists and business experts evaluates investment opportunities in Bio-Pharma, Devices & Diagnostics, and Health-IT and works closely with founders to navigate the greatest challenges and  add significant value to company growth. 

We are seeking an exceptional individual with a strong business acumen to screen, research and perform due diligence on the most advanced and innovative early stage investment opportunities. The Associate will conduct initial screening based on science/technology, financials and market need and will deliver comprehensive diligence including deep analysis of the technology, business model, market and financial aspects of the deal. Due diligence process will include review of preclinical, clinical and commercial data and research; conducting interviews with KOLs and domain experts to assess the unmet needs and relative strength of the product/technology to competition and assist with preparation of investment thesis and materials.

As part of his/her role, the Associate will also work with the industry and academics partners of the firm, as well as develop their own network, to source promising new leads for investment opportunities. Our associates work in multiple projects, in a team based and fast paced environment, assist board members with board meetings preparations and work with the Alpha group to add value to our portfolio companies.    


You are:

Highly motivated and talented individual with a passion for cutting edge science and technology business acumen (post MBA degree) and relevant work experience; a team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to translate complicated scientific and technical info to a non-technical audience in both Hebrew and English. Healthcare experience and international education or work experience highly advantageous. 


The position is based in Israel.
