Position Summary:

The Director Product Manager will have the opportunity to work on products that aim to enhance the lives of millions worldwide while working on some of the hardest, most interesting and impactful problems. You will be a key member of the development team, and you will help navigate the teams to ensure we build the right product for the right target market.

Responsibilities Include:

Guide product features throughout the execution cycle with the focus on solutions for both software and data.
Lead requirements and specification gathering for enhancing our innovative clinical offering, as well as accelerating our R&D process.
Convert complex use cases from multiple stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and needs into a set of clear and quantitative requirements.
Ensure teams are efficiently executing on the most impactful and value driven projects.
Define, analyze, and communicate product success metrics to the product teams and leadership.
Write and test user stories and acceptance criteria.
Support the development lifecycle, from technical design, development, testing, and deployment, including managing day-to-day software releases.
Conduct user experience assessments, from discovery to monitoring successful delivery of project and/or product value to the end user post launch.
Lead projects across multiple cross-departmental efforts, coordinating the efforts and communicating timelines and risks to leadership.
Conduct market research to understand the market, competition, and user requirements in depth. You will be contrasting against other offerings in the field, in parallel fields, and even in cases where the key learnings transcend an industry.
Ensure that both external customers and internal stakeholders receive proper communications about product launches, functionality, and issues.


Physical Requirements: 

Subject to extended periods of sitting and/or standing, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or the Scientific field.
2 years of experience in building strategic product roadmap(s) from conception to launch.
Experience with genomics, mobile-first experience, product launches in healthcare, taking products through the CLIA/CAP/HIPAA regulatory requirements is preferred.
4 years’ experience with Jira, Confluence, Agile, Scrum and/or Kanban.
4 years’ experience with delivering key product capabilities used today by 100,000s of users, as part of a fast-growing technology company.
Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance or Marketing is preferred.
Experience developing web and mobile products and technologies.
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams with a clear communication style.
Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction.
Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority and interest in fostering a collaborative working environment, including across geographies.
Deep curiosity and passion for understanding problems facing users and the business.
Foundation for being data driven and knowing how to leverage data to inform decisions, set requirements, and evaluate success.
