Igentify is a digital health company. It has developed the world’s first Digital Genetic Counselor™ – a digital platform for genetic tests providers. The platform is capable of providing a fully scalable end-to-end genetic counseling solution in both clinical as well as non-clinical (direct-to-consumer) genetic testing set up. The platform is built for various genotyping technologies like microarray and next-generation sequencing (NGS). It can be customized to a broad spectrum of genetic and genomic tests offered by the test providers. We are looking for a sales leader who thrives in a dynamic early stage company environment. The VP of Sales is the top-level executive for sales based in North America and will lead strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth.

In the immediate term, you will be responsible for managing Igentify’s portfolio of clients while actively pitching new business. You will also manage communication between clients and cross-functional internal teams and remote management within different countries to ensure quality execution.  As the Sales team expands, you will be responsible for managing a team of Sales Managers, while continuing to handle your own book of business. Initially, the primary new business client list will include Genetic Testing organizations, Genetic Laboratories and Hospitals. 


• Develop focused sales strategy, annual sales plans and monthly goals and tactics that achieve desired strategic short and long-term goals in growth and profitability

• Direct sales activity; develop new relationships with client partners and channels. Prospect, including the ability to qualify and close new business and discover/develop new sales product opportunities

• Strategically and creatively build and manage a sales pipeline with timely and accurate forecasting while maintaining a high level of activity

• Work closely with senior leadership to create a harmonized sales and marketing strategy and execution plan that achieves company goals including revenue expectations, budgets and forecasting



• Deal closer with a “can-do” approach. Personality is independent,  highly motivated and a self-starter 

• Must be a proven sales executive with 7+ years of healthcare and/or genetic sales management and B2B sales experience

• Start-up/early stage/growth company experience preferred

• Strong understanding and knowledge of reimbursement codes, knowledge of regulatory channels and of the genetics ecosystem in general 

• Ability to develop sales strategy and manage sales planning tools and management tools

• Experience managing a team to performance KPI’s and accurately forecasting sales

• Strong analytical thinking, technological abilities, strategic problem solving, organizational, and time management skills

• Effective communicator across internal departments, as well as with external partners and clients

• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

• Entrepreneurial spirit with the drive and passion to succeed

• Ability to thrive and be highly effective in a fast-paced and fluid environment, as well as situations of ambiguity and uncertainty

• Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time and willing to work outside of business hours to accommodate collaboration with global team 

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, MBA a plus
