Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations, the Sales Operations Analyst is highly analytical and a self-starter, able to develop creative solutions to complex business/analysis problems. This individual is passionate about driving operational efficiencies and scaling a rapidly growing commercial organization. The successful candidate is able to thrive and drive business process improvement in a fast-paced ambiguous startup environment. As a thought leader, this position collaborates closely with Sales and other cross-functional Commercial leaders to identify current challenges and drive process improvement and scalability.  The Sales Operations Analyst will utilize a data-driven approach via Salesforce.com and Looker Analytics to develop actionable insights for the Sales and broader Commercial team. This role will also be responsible for sales reporting, commissions, territory management, and master data management in Salesforce.com. 
 
 You will:
●     Partner with Sales management to develop new systems and processes in support of go-to-market strategies
●     Assist with the definition and monitoring of sales KPIs via Salesforce.com and/or Looker
●     Assist with the development of new programs to standardize sales go-to-market efforts
●     Collaborate with Marketing to develop new measures for operationalizing multi-channel demand generation initiatives (digital, conference, webinars)
●      Maintain and update sales territories and rosters in all applicable systems 
●     Develop standard reports in Salesforce.com and Looker Analytics for Commercial organization to understand sales performance and effectiveness
●     Develop new tools, methodologies and business processes aimed at improving operational efficiency 
●     Responsible for calculating commission and incentive award payments to sales organization based on current Incentive Compensation (IC) plans
●     Compile data from various sources, excel, google sheets, to develop payment calculations and distribute final commission sheets to sales personnel
●     Provide support activities in the development and administration of new IC plans, policies, and quotas
●     Perform quarterly analysis to understand sales performance to plan and provide recommendations for improvements in IC design 
●     Primary support for all inbound sales and marketing inquiries related to Salesforce.com or reporting needs
●     Contribute to quarterly OKR planning Commercial Operations and execution of initiatives 
●     Develop and deploy Sales Enablement programs to Sales teams related to new Commercial programs and processes
 
You bring:
●     Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics or a related field; MBA is a plus
●     3-5 years in sales operations, business strategy, or business analytics
●     Advanced knowledge of data analysis for Excel (pivot tables, data tables, functions) and Google Sheets
●     Diagnostics or Healthcare / Life Sciences experience preferred
●     Salesforce.com experience
●     PostgreSQL (or other SQL) database experience required
●     Analytical, critical problem solver
●     Proficient in GSuite applications (Google Sheets, Docs, Slides)
●     Business process design and data modeling experience
●     Experience with different software development frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Lean)
●     Ability to manage and shift priorities in a constantly evolving commercial organization
●     Start-up experience is a plus
