The Director of Nutrition (CDE) at DayTwo is a vital part of our team providing individual or group training, diabetes education, and follow-up for all practitioners and Certified Diabetes Educators (CDEs). You will work with the President to provide training and education across multiple territories on current DayTwo products and technologies. As a member of our growing team working directly with our leadership team, you will shape the approach and practice of our training program both in person and in a virtual setting. 

Your Impact:

    • Advise and consult with DayTwo’s team to design our training program and serve as a consultant to our practitioners and CDEs 
    • Stay current on diabetes education and weight management best practices to leverage proven techniques to enhance program engagement and outcomes 
    • Set-up and facilitate in-person and group education by facilitating webinars, conference calls, or other computer-based training offerings 
    • Develops curriculum, training, and educational materials and using them as aids in nutrition education 
    • Monitoring and evaluating training data to improve the overall program
    • Participates in activities that promote and expand the reputation and the services of DayTwo's Programs

You will love this job if you:

    • Certified diabetes educator (CDE) with 5+ years of experience of direct diabetes and clinical experience or diabetes education center or diabetes care focused medical center 
    • Have additional background or interest in health technology, informatics, or telemedicine  
    • Have stellar written and oral communication skills 
    • Responsible, independent, and highly self-motivated 
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Comfortable with remote technology (Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc.) and willingness to pick-up the phone and speak directly with clients 
    • Willing to travel to other facilities to facilitate trainings  
    • Bachelor’s Degrees Registered Dietitian (RD) with Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) 
    • Masters preferred
