aMoon 2 is our late stage fund focused on mid to late stage companies in the fields of Bio-Pharma, Devices & Diagnostics, and Health-IT. Our team of seasoned industry/VC professionals, PhD scientists, and business experts evaluate investment opportunities and work closely with founders to navigate the greatest challenges and add significant value to company growth.


The Role:

We are seeking an exceptional scientist to join our aMoon2 team as a Scientific Associate. Successful candidate will have industry experience and business acumen to research, source, screen, and diligence exciting healthcare investment opportunities for our late stage fund. The Associate will conduct initial screening based on science/technology, financial, and market needs, in order to deliver comprehensive diligence and deep analysis of the deal’s technology, business model, market, and finances. The due diligence process will include a review of preclinical, clinical, and commercial data; interviews conducted with KOLs and domain experts to assess unmet needs and relative strength of the product/technology to competition; and assisting with the preparation of the investment thesis and materials.

As part of their role, the Associate will also work with the industry and academic partners of the firm, as well as developing their own network to source promising new leads for investment opportunities. Our Associates work on multiple projects in a team based and fast paced environment: including preparing board members for board meetings and working with the Alpha group to add value to our portfolio companies.

You Are:

Highly motivated and talented individual with a passion for cutting edge science and technology, deep technicalbackground (MD or PhD degree), and industry experience. A team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to translate complicated scientific and technical info to a non-technical audience in both Hebrew and English. International education or work experience highly advantageous.

The position is based in Israel.
